Securitize plans to integrate Stellar as its 17th blockchain, expanding tokenized asset offerings and improving access to blockchain-based investments.
Securitize has announced plans to integrate the Stellar network into its tokenization infrastructure, giving institutional asset managers another blockchain option for issuing and managing regulated financial products.
Stellar will become the 17th blockchain supported by Securitize, which provides tokenization and securities services to institutions such as BlackRock, Apollo and Hamilton Lane, as per the company’s announcement today. The agreement was unveiled during Meridian 2026, the Stellar Development Foundation’s two-day conference in Lisbon, Portugal.
The companies have not identified which financial products will launch through the integration or provided a completion date. Securitize described the agreement as a planned expansion, meaning it does not establish that its existing tokenized funds or equities have moved onto Stellar.
Securitize plans regulated asset issuance on Stellar
The integration is intended to let asset managers issue, administer and transfer tokenized financial instruments through Stellar while using Securitize’s established securities infrastructure.
Its regulated subsidiaries provide brokerage, transfer agency and investment advisory services in the United States, alongside licensed securities operations in Europe. The network integration does not remove the investor eligibility, compliance or custody requirements attached to individual financial products.
Carlos Domingo, Securitize’s co-founder and CEO, said Stellar has developed what the company considers the fourth-largest ecosystem for tokenized real-world assets.
The company said the partnership supports its multichain strategy, which allows asset managers to select networks according to operational and distribution requirements. No transaction value, deployment cost or expected revenue contribution accompanied the announcement.
Stellar’s tokenized asset market has attracted institutional issuers
Stellar already hosts investment products from established financial institutions, including Franklin Templeton’s tokenized U.S. Government Money Fund. The BENJI fund began operating on Stellar in 2021 and has since expanded to additional blockchains.
An August assessment of Stellar’s tokenized asset market found that its real-world asset value had climbed from approximately $785 million in January to more than $3 billion by July. The figures came from RedStone research covering tokenized funds, Treasuries and corporate credit.
The same research identified substantial holdings in products from Spiko, Ondo Finance and Franklin Templeton. Yet the value of assets issued on a network differs from the value being actively traded or used as collateral.
RedStone found that Blend lending pools accepting real-world assets held just over $2 million, despite Stellar’s multibillion-dollar tokenized asset base. Those figures show that issuance growth and decentralized lending adoption remained separate measures.
Stellar supports asset controls such as identity checks, transfer restrictions and clawbacks for regulated products. Denelle Dixon, CEO and executive director of the Stellar Development Foundation, welcomed the partnership as an opportunity to develop additional institutional products.
Securitize expands beyond existing Solana products
Securitize’s new agreement follows several institutional initiatives across other blockchain networks. In September, KB Securities selected Securitize and Optimism to develop tokenized funds for South Korean institutions, beginning with a proposed money market product.
Unlike the Stellar announcement, the Korean agreement identifies OP Mainnet as the intended network for its initial fund. Neither announcement establishes that the proposed products have begun trading.
Securitize has meanwhile confirmed that 12 tokenized stocks are live on Solana for eligible investors. The October offering includes representations of shares in companies such as Apple, Nvidia and Tesla, with participation subject to onboarding and applicable jurisdictional restrictions.
In August, Securitize introduced a tokenized high-yield fund with Neuberger, targeting issuance across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui. That product covers corporate credit investments and restricts access to qualifying investors.
Stellar integration leaves product timetable unconfirmed
As of September 30, Securitize reported approximately $5 billion in tokenized securities on its platform. The figure describes assets across its operations, not tokens already issued through Stellar.
The company has not named any asset manager committed to using the proposed Stellar connection or identified the first securities it expects to support.
Its October 28 statement leaves the integration schedule and individual product details open. The accompanying forward-looking disclosures warn that implementation could be delayed, changed or left incomplete because of technical, regulatory or commercial conditions.
